2012

An epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.

The story is not really original, and the scenario and play of the actors is bad. We really do not advise you to go see this movie…

Julie & Julia

Julia Child and Julie Powell – both of whom wrote memoirs – find their lives intertwined. Though separated by time and space, both women are at loose ends… until they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible.

A really good comedy, and as it comes from true stories, it gives an additional touch to the movie, somehow it sounds more “real”. I really advise you to go see it, you won’t regret it!

Millions

Ethics, being human and the soul all come to the forefront on this masterly-written, directed and acted, fun, very rare film when a 7-year old finds a bag of Pounds with a few days to spend before the currency is switched to Euros and learns what we are really made of.

Directed by Danny Boyle, this movie is a nice way of showing what man can do for money, and what ann innocent child can do from it.

Les triplettes de Belleville

When her grandson is kidnapped during the Tour de France, Madame Souza and her beloved pooch Bruno team up with the Belleville Sisters–an aged song-and-dance team from the days of Fred Astaire–to rescue him.

A good animation, a good movie, a bit crazy in the style, but definitely worth checking it. And the original soundtrack is nice as well!
